Refugee Artisan Initiative (RAl) partners with refugee and immigrant women to foster an inclusive, prosperous transition to the US through artisan skills training and micro business development. RAl's strength-based approach meets women where they are, celebrating their talents. Whether or not artisans have learned to speak English, had access to education, or been employed before-RAl knows the possess the drive and ability to acquire skills, to earn equitable income, and to give back to their communities. RAl creates a safe space for women to develop their skills, their confidence, their entrepreneurship, and their sense of purpose.
